If you need your order sent out sooner that the standard 7-12 business days please contact me at nikki@coleyscollars.com before placing your order and I will let you know if I can accomidate your needs.

How will my order be shipped? top

Orders will be shipped USPS first class mail with tracking within the United States and USPS first class International without tracking to Everywhere else. If you need expedited shipping or would like to add insurance please contact me so I can get you a price.

INTERNATIONAL Buyers: I ship USPS First Class International, which can take more than 4 weeks for some places. If you prefer expedited shipping, please contact me before you place your order and I can get you pricing for Priority International.

International customers are responsible for any and all additional duties, taxes or fees imposed by Customs in your country.

How do I know what size to order? top

Measure around your pets neck where the collars would normally sit and add 2 in. It is easiest to do this using a soft tape measure but if you don't have one you can use a string or a piece of yarn and then measure that. If you have any sizing question please contact me at nikki@coleyscollars.com  .

What if my little one is between sizes? Can you make a custom size? top

Yes:) All collars are made after they are ordered so contact me with your babies neck measurements and I will be glad to make a custom size!

How do I clean my collar or leash? top

Caring for your new collar is EASY!
Machine wash gentle cycle using a mild detergent and then line dry. For extra protection place your collar in a garment bag before washing.

What is a "martingale upgrade"? top

A martingale collar is a special style of collar that is designed to prevent dogs from being able to “back out” of their collars and get loose. It is really popular with dog breeds that have heads that are the same size or smaller than their necks like grey hounds or dogs that try to pull out of their collars when walking.

The martingale collars are made with two loops and no buckle. The large loop is placed around the dog’s neck (just behind the dog's ears) and then adjusted to fit. The leash is then clipped on to the D ring on the small loop. When the dog tries to pull their head out of the collar, the tension on the leash pulls the small loop tight which then tightens the large loop around the dog’s neck preventing them from being able to escape. When fitted properly, a martingale collar will not choke your dog but will stay snug around their neck until pressure is released.

    Additional Policies! top

PLEASE NOTE: As the parent of a furry baby safety should ALWAYS come first!!! While these collars are very durable ANY collar will eventually wear out. Please be responsible and check your babies collar and leash regularly for signs of wear and tear. Please do not leave your little ones new collar or leash where it may be chewed or ingested. Coley's Collars are not intendeed to be worn by your baby while they are tied in/out or unsupervised. Please remove your little ones collar before placing them unattended in a crate or at ANYTIME that they will be unsupervised.

Also, I DO NOT recommend using the dog collars for cats. I make the kitty collars with breakaway buckles for your kitties safety and ONLY recommend using the breakaway kitty collars for cats.

Please determine the suitability of these collars for your pup/kitty and his/her individual situation. You as the customer are responsible for determining the suitability of any of the items sold by Coley's Collars for your individual situation and assume all responsibility and liability by purchasing these products.
